I'll have me some of that cram chowder

While getting coffee at Company’s Coming this morning with a co-worker, one of the employees was updating the ‘lunch specials’ board. The little old Chinese gentleman was writing, in ever so neat script, what they were serving up today. I watched as he wrote, and that’s when the giggles started. When J saw what he was writing, she joined in.

This is what the board said:

Cram Chowder
Won Ton Soup
Cabbage Rolls

Yup, that’s right. Cram Chowder. Not Clam Chowder. Cram Chowder.

Think about it for a minute. Say it out loud.

As we walked away with our coffees, it was all we could do to not burst out laughing.
