Getting a text message that just says "Hi" or "Hey".
Now let's take a minute to think about this...if I make a phone call, I don't just say "Hi" and leave the rest up to you. I say hello, you say hello back, and then I get to the point of my phone call. We have a witty conversation, make plans, whatever.
A text message is really no different. It's a conversation....and tell me why I am going to want to write you back if you have nothing exciting to say other than "Hi"? Seriously!
ARGH!!
(and if any of my friends who read this think it's going to be funny to text me with just a hello, DON'T!! I will hunt you down and hurt you!)
